Responsibilities:
o Under the general direction of the Section Supervisor and leadership staff, perform a variety of laboratory tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease.
Qualifications:
Educationo Bachelor's degree from a four (4) year MT or HTL program approved a National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences or equivalent or eligible.
o Must meet the minimum requirements of the Clinical Laboratory Act of 1988.
Experienceo Prefer recent experience in a hospital laboratory as a Medical Technologist (MT) / Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) / Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) / Histotechnologist (HTL)(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience)Licensure/Certificationo Registered or eligible for registry as MT (ASCP/AMT) or HTL (ASCP/AMT) or equivalent.
Compensation/Benefitso $24.
75-$43.
71/hr depending on previous work experience.
